What to Expect
The Cloverdale Citrus Fair has been an area staple for years now, and it’s an event that visitors and locals alike love to get in on. 2022 marks 130 years of this amazing festival! Not only is this festival a celebration of the incredible citrus fruits grown in the area, but it’s also a chance for the community to come together and enjoy each other’s company with some fun activities.
For instance, one of the most popular events throughout the fair is Cloverdale’s Got Talent competition. You can also see adorable kids competing for the titles of Lily Lemon and Oran Orange in the fair’s pageant, enjoy the floats of the Citrus Fair Parade, or attend the incredible performance of Cabaret! You can also enjoy thrilling rides, exciting games, an incredible petting zoo, art and photo exhibits, and more.
Perhaps the fair’s main attraction, though, is the wine competition. The Cloverdale Citrus Fair is the biggest competition of North American wines in the world! In 2020, there were more than 6,700 wines representing over 1,000 wineries across the continent! Enjoy the public tasting and experience unique flavors of wine from around North America.
How to Attend
If you want to experience all the festivities for yourself, how can you do so? First, it’s important to note the chance of dates for the 2022 celebration. Typically, the Cloverdale Citrus Fair is held in February. However, due to the current health circumstances, the Board of Directors has moved the festival to April 21-24, 2022. That gives visitors even more time to book their trips and prepare for the festivities! Each day, the festival will occur from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The fair will be held at 1 Citrus Fair Drive in Cloverdale, just a short drive from our most popular Sonoma County rentals. Details about tickets and entry prices are yet to come.
