SUMMARY:17th ANNUAL BEER BL0SS0M FEST! at HopMonk SEBAST0P0L - STAY HEALDSBURG
DESCRIPTION:17th Annual Beer Blossom Fest! at HopMonk Sebastopol\n\n\n\nSat\, April 26\, 2025\, 12:00 pm\n  \nJason Beard’s\, Bring Joy: \nJason Beard is a co-founder and songwriter for Northern California’s jamgrass favorites Poor Man’s Whiskey. Jason teams up with various singer/songwriters (as well as PMW members past and present) for an eclectic exploration of musical styles ranging from country/americana to psychedelic blues\, jam\, bluegrass\, and more. An emphasis is on original songwriting but the band also enjoys paying homage to their influences with some fun and ever changing covers (in the styles of Poor Man’s Whiskey\, Allman Brothers\, Pink Floyd\, Phish\, Railroad Earth\, Grateful Dead\, Bonnie Raitt\, Susan Tedeschi\, etc.). \nPardon the Interruption: \nRoaring out of the fog-shrouded hills of Sonoma and drowning out the chatter\, New Wave/Prog-Pop troubadours Pardon the Interruption (aka PTI) are taking their place — asserting their voice — in the storied musical conversation of the San Francisco Bay Area. \nOne foot is planted firmly in the past paying homage to some of the most singular and iconic artists of the ‘70s\, 80s and ‘90s. The other is stepping boldly forward\, producing original material that is at once nostalgically familiar while also entirely modern and unique. It’s undeniable fun. It will make you dance. It’s like a perfect pepperoni pizza. It’s Pardon The Interruption. \nBand leader\, lead singer and guitarist David Noble (Wreckless Strangers\, Poor Man’s Whiskey\, Nina Hagen) has assembled three of the finest\, most versatile session musicians in Northern California\, and fostered a cohesion that transcends music. PTI’s love for each other and their craft is visceral. You can feel it. \nBohemian Highway: \nDOUG BLUMER – Lead Vocals and Guitar  Doug began his singing career on the banks of the Mississippi singing along to Elvis. It’s no surprise that he has been dubbed “The Honky Tonk Sinatra” due to his velvety vocals that touch on George Jones and Meryl Haggard. Add into the mix The Beatles and The Byrds and you come up with The Bohemian Highway.\nAfter more than two decades in San Francisco\, Doug relocated to West Sonoma County in 2010 where the band was formed. He continues to delight audiences with his musicality and creative talents on lead guitar and vocals. \nNANCY IRISH – Rhythm Guitar and Harmony Vocals  Doug and Nancy have been married for over 30 years. They’ve been writing awesome songs together all that time. After the move to the country\, they began performing as Bohemian Highway and adding new musicians along the way. \nKENT FOSSGREEN – Bass  Kent and Doug began their musical journey together in the mid 1990’s. Kent’s bass brings a melodic sensibility to the rhythm section. His pedigree is legendary in Sonoma County. We are lucky! \nJANE FOSSGREEN – Saxophone and Harmony Vocals  Jane is a featured soloist on saxophone. Jane combines her expertise in classic soul and blues to add a depth of roots to our pop-heavy sound. \nROBERT BUTLER  Robert is widely known as our “special sauce”. His diverse musical contributions include electric guitar\, harmonica\, flute\, mandolin\, banjo and melodica\, just to name a few. His background in Pepperland\, a Beatles cover band\, adds a rich layering of musical tastiness. \nDAN RANSFORD  Dan has been keeping the beat around Sonoma County for more years than anyone can remember. He understands the flexibility and diversity of styles needed for original music. He is vital in giving our tunes the beat that gets the audiences up and dancing. \n  \nView on Website Add to Google Calendar \n\nHopMonk Tavern – Sebastopol \n230 Petaluma Ave – Sebastopol

SUMMARY:MURMUR: WINGED BEL0NGING at RAGLE RANCH PARK - STAY HEALDSBURG
DESCRIPTION:MURMUR: Winged Belonging at Ragle Ranch Park\n\n\n\nSun\, April 27\, 2025\, 1:00 pm\n  \nMURMUR is soaring into a spring tour in parks across Northern California with the support of the California Arts in the Parks grant. This free outdoor performance invites you to witness dance in dialogue with the landscape—no stage\, no barriers\, just the murmuration of dance in the open air. \n🐣Join us for the perfomance starting at 2pm PT🐦\nIf you love birds\, you’ll love MURMUR. If you’ve ever stopped dead in your tracks to catch the flicker of wings and the way a bird’s call can anchor you to the present moment\, this show is for you. \n🦜Arrive at 1pm PT for a free bird language workshop facilitated by Weaving Earth🦉\nJoin us for a free Bird Language Practice with partner organization Weaving Earth from 1:00 – 1:45pm.\nThis workshop invites you to slow down\, settle your nervous system\, and build a reciprocal relationship with birds by tuning into their vocalizations\, movements\, and behaviors. By cultivating deep listening and presence\, we can better understand the real-time story of the ecosystem that birds are telling\, while also reflecting on how our own actions impact their well-being. Through this co-liberatory and somatic approach\, participants will deepen their “wild fluency” and learn how bird language can foster empathy\, connection\, and collective awareness in both natural and human communities. \nThis event is for the 📍 April 27th performance at Ragle Ranch Regional Park in Sebastopol. \n  \nView on Website Add to Google Calendar \n\nRagle Ranch Park \n500 Ragle Rd. – Sebastopol
