Ground yourself through breath and movement as you awaken your body and senses overlooking the expansive views of the rolling hills and vineyards. \nFollowing practice\, Robert will guide us on a contemplative forest bathing walk through the preserve’s 350 acres of oak woodlands and wildflowers. Inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku\, forest bathing is a sensory immersion in nature. It’s not quite a hike\, and there’s no water involved. In this gentle guided wander\, we bathe in the atmosphere of the forest. We walk slowly and attentively\, noticing the scent of the forest\, the touch of breeze on our skin\, the play of light through leaves. We take that notice in\, let it land inside us\, enriching us with the healing benefits of being in nature. \nGrounded and restored\, we’ll gather in the lake pavilion for a tea ceremony featuring herbs foraged by Robert from the surrounding land and a healthy\, delicious lunch savoring seasonal flavors\, good conversation\, and the beauty of springtime on the estate. \nTo close the day\, guests are invited to an optional wine tasting on the estate’s beautiful tasting terrace overlooking the vineyard.
