Celebrate the rich cultural traditions of Mexico through the vibrant artistry of the musicians and dancers in LBC’s afterschool Marichi and Ballet Folklórico programs at Voces y Pasos (Voices and Steps): A Cultural Celebration. Featuring more than 150 of Sonoma County’s talented youth, Voces y Pasos brings these traditions and celebrations to life in an unforgettable stage performance that pays tribute to their Mexican heritage.

LBC’s Mariachi Ensemble and its sister program, LBC’s Ballet Folklórico, enroll students from all over the county. Together they deliver stunning performances that blend technical skill, stage presence, and heartfelt expression while embodying the grace and vibrancy of traditional Mexican folk music and dance.

The young performers in these programs devote themselves to weekly rehearsals and regular performances at community events that continue to shape them into impressive artists. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and sponsors, they can participate at no cost to their families, with all equipment and costumes provided.
